This bed is very attractive in design, form, and function. The quality is a little better than would be anticipated at this price. The white vinyl is "almost" leather-looking, so this bed in vinyl is a good alternative to a more expensive white-leather bed, if you are comparing the two with each other.
The color is white as white can be, so there was no difference when comparing it to the color online. The headboard does have black-colored legs, which some here find distracting. However, after making the bed with a fluffy duvet/comforter, you'll never notice them.
Also, if you order the complete bed, as opposed to just the headboard, note that the side boards don't completely cover up a standard sized box spring. So to cover up the box spring I just purchased an extra fitted sheet (same color as my bed sheets) and covered the box spring with that. Really no big deal.
I would have given this 5 stars, especially since it was easy to assemble, but some necessary bolts were missing in the packaging to assemble the side boards to the bed frame. So I had to run to my garage and raid my random bolt bin. So just be aware of this and expect a trip to the hardware store or your own bolt selection, as I think others have mentioned this as well.

This bed is wonderful. Just what I was looking for. I do wish I would have gotten a higher box spring. I am 6'1 so I should of. But the bed is great. I did take a long time to get here. almost a mouth.

This bed is used for a guest room. Bed was very easy to assemble without reading the instructions. You can dress the bed up or down. Mattress size I used was 18 inches since I raised the headboard up the 57 inches which I can alternate as a platform look or regular look. The person who wrote the comment that this bed is poorly constructed, I totally disagree.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

this was exactely the style of bed I was looking for (although I was looking for leather instead) but I was very disapointed with the quality. The side boards are super thin and don't match at the corners.
